The Canvas is where users leverage connectors to link multiple functions and tools into a single workflow, enabling integrations to execute complex tasks inside the client's product.

It is the most used surface of the platform, so it was the first one rebuilt on top of the new design system. The work covered the connector anatomy, the states each node can be in, the configuration panels behind them and the execution feedback shown while a flow runs.

Old Canvas

Rigid and non-responsive. Connectors did not respond correctly to user interactions, resulting in a confusing and inefficient experience.

New Canvas

Clean, smooth and fully responsive. With purposeful microinteractions, connectors now give clear feedback and support an intuitive workflow.

Result

Reduced “time-to-build” a simple flow from 90 to nearly 30 minutes.

The canvas in use

The redesigned canvas keeps building, configuring and debugging in the same place: the connector library stays reachable on the side, node states read at a glance, and execution results appear inline instead of on another page.
